johnnyvaldez7.jv Posted May 6 Share Posted May 6 (edited) I was given a collection of large mammal bones recently that came from a local gravel pit here in SE Texas. I figured they were mostly Columbian mammoth bones. I saw this amongst the bones and my first thought was this was from a VERY large turtle. But, I'm not sure at all. I haven't seen this line before on anything large. Is this a suture/growth margin/seam?
