Missourian
Camptophyllia... A complete arthropleurid? Crikey! I've always wondered if smaller individuals have ever been found complete. Edited November 22, 2011 by Missourian Context is critical.

Terry Dactyll
Thanks guys...High praise indeed coming from you Xiph A complete arthropleurid? Crikey! I've always wondered if smaller individuals have ever been found complete. Very interesting observation and probably one that has crossed the minds of those studying Camptophyllia in the past... potentially the juveniles living in the marginal area's of the levees and delta system until they became large enough to avoid predation (or permanent habitat)... The number of segments could of increased gradually during successive moults... Here's a few Arthropleura bits... Cheers Steve... And Welcome if your a New Member... TMNH
Thank you! You're the first one to notice my new trilobite signature! I actually found it on the internet and couldn't resist using it. I would love to learn how to make one myself though...an arthropleura would be neat!!!

Wrangellian
Redoing the blutack in the drawers every 3 years or so takes me roughly half an hour a drawer... I just do one a night until they are done... I bet you spend that weekly re-arranging your plastic boxes... Probably do, but it's fun. Knowing me, I'd go nuts with the sticky stuff because I'd want to rearrange it as soon as I arranged it, if you know what I mean. Easier to rearrange the boxes (which are cardboard, btw, not plastic for the most part). Anyway I've looked high and low for the drawers, ebay, craigslist, etc, still no luck. I've been having to build my own which is a pain and would prefer to find them ready-made, for cheap, but apparently that's not how life works!
