I think your echinoid is Echinolampas appendiculata, most likely from the Castle Hayne Formation. thanks again Al, I'll start there and take better pics as well when it arrives home! I am usually just searching for what lies directly on top of it! Believe it or not, there is a whole Wide World of Fossils outside of shark teeth!
