Well, it's out of my hands now, I just wanted to do "The right thing" ....... I kinda knew I was taking a chance that it may be old, not being familiar with human bones ........ if it does turn out to be 500+ years old; I hope it ends up somewhere fitting & treated with dignity; after all .... it was a part of a humans body; at some point of time ..... And ...... having a friend, whose son is the staff sargeant at the Police division; I'm hoping I'll be able to ( but not sure ) ........ that I may be able to find out how old the lab actually dated it at.
