scious
Hi, I found this flint in southern Norway some time ago. It's not much to go in in terms of determining what plant or animal it is, just wondering if anybody has got any clues. The stone is small, the size of a penny. There is a white sort of net inside, about 1 mm deep at the shallowest, and it streches on deeper into the stone, towards the other side. View from the side: Not sure if this is even unusual in flint stones, I've read somewhere that flint often is molded around dead things, so might be this is normal? I appreciate any feedback! RichW9090
Lovely piece of butterscotch flint - would have made a perfect gunflint. The plural of "anecdote" is not "evidence".
