Hi everyone,

I found it interesting to look back through the archives and see the members who have been voted by their peers as the illustrious Member of the Month!

Some names I didn't recognise from the early days (2008) but there are some that are still here and still an important part of the Fossil Forum community. They continue to post prolifically and help to make the TFF what it is today.

I didn't see anywhere where members could look back easily and see a list of past MOTM winners.
If people think this is a good idea, I've got the ball rolling with this list (below).
I don't know if some names have changed (names starting with Guest_) and it might be useful to link to profiles??

Thanks for compiling the list.

One thing to add.... A couple members -- Bev and Oxytropidoceras -- deserve at least an asterisk next to their names. They received MOTM without the voting process due to their exceptional contributions.

Thank you for the compilation!

Some of those showing as "Guest___" are an artifact of a massive and destructive hacking from the earlier days, where these accounts were deleted and had to be recreated.

Very nice!

Makes me wonder where some of these longtime contributors are hiding now. I've read countless posts of days gone past on here, and have had the pleasure of being informed by members that don't post anymore. Kinda wish they did....

Hey guys,

I was wondering how we might maintain this list since I can't edit this entry anymore.

Maybe admin could do this?

Hey, I just realized there are 15,468 members on the forum, with 78 members of the month - you are now a half a percenter! 99.5 % of members are not members of the month 0.5% are.

Thanks

Thanks for taking the time to do this. But I believe September 2014 actually had 2 winners ;)

And JesusLover340 wasn't voted for either, she was also given the award without a vote :) (for the * thing)

I'm glad to be in that 0,5%, that was a very joyful surprise for me.:D

Thank you very much for that list.

Thank you @Fin Lover :default_clap2:In my page, I do not see the years 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012, as well as 2014 and 2016. Instead I have a dark background (like the forum background). Maybe a display problem that persists even after restarting...
