Darktooth
Today I got out for a couple hours to enjoy some early season salmon fishing. I got up to the Salmon River in Pulaski New York about 3:30 pm and the weather was gorgeous. I have been under a lot of stress lately and I really needed a relaxing diversion. The salmon have started running early this year due to the unseasonably cooler temps the past couple weeks. The river was filled with people and shortly after I got in the water I saw a lot of guys hooking up with fish. I went to one of my favorite spots and was happy to see not many people fishing it. I managed to hook up with 4 fish and landed 2 fish. Here are some pics. 1 I like Trilo-butts and I cannot lie.

fossilized6s
I caught me a Lake Michigan King Salmon last Saturday. Filleted it and made some cavier from some of her eggs. Not too shabby for my first King. Fresh cucumber, chunked smoked salmon mixed with cream cheese with salmon cavier. It was amazing! ~Charlie~ "There are those that look at things the way they are, and ask why.....i dream of things that never were, and ask why not?" ~RFK ->Get your Mosasaur print ->How to spot a fake Trilobite ->How to identify a CONCRETION from a DINOSAUR EGG

Seaforth
I truly enjoy walking and exploring the old battlefields of France WW1 This summer I brought my kids with me as i think its important to teach them young about the horrors of war. Being a keen fossil hunter I keep my eyes fixed on the soil as you never know what you might find and sure enough we did find some battlefield relics (shrapnel balls etc) Some live artillery shells too but we made very sure to leave them untouched :-) After a 100+ years in the soil this little treasure caught my eye while walking along a ploughed field. Turned out to be British General Service button.

Jesuslover340
I'm pretty boring in comparison I enjoy reading, writing, and doing research. I used to enjoy drawing, but was never really any good at it with any consistency. And unfortunately, I've had writer's block for a few years now, spare for the occasional essay that results from a writing prompt. Roanoker
I like to take pictures with my digital camera, mostly while on vacation. I then work with them in Photoshop and send the results to friends and family. I took an online course in Photoshop while my leg was in a cast some years back. I liked it so much, I took another one, which was more advanced. Working the available assignments were not mandatory, but they were very helpful. I particularly liked the result of one. I was supposed to get five pictures of animals, five pictures of flowers, and five pictures of trees. Then I was to combine them with varying treatments into one image. I had visited the St. Louis zoo and taken many pictures, so I was able to find fifteen images that would fit the requirement. Here is the result. Darktooth
Things have been really busy for me lately. Still working on the kitchen, overtime at work, kids are back in school, and there has been no time for fossils. But today I managed to get the boys out fishing for a little while and had some fun. We fished the Oswego river, which is getti g a nice run of salmon despite unseasonably hot weather. While we didn't catch any of the big boys, we did catch a few walleyes, one smallmouth, and a few gobies. I like Trilo-butts and I cannot lie.
