Browsed the web for hours, need some help

Thanks all, great to know a bit more now!

I'll try and find out in what period these types of corals may have lived in the Netherlands. 

It must have been a long time ago because these days the weather is not very tropical.

Yeah, that is true, it was just a joke. The weather in NL is particularly nasty this time of the year. 

 

Anyway, it just occurred to me, I found these at the bottom of a dike, and the dikes are built with basalt rock, I understand that this was brought in from Germany and also granites brought in from Scandinavia. So those fossils may have come from somewhere else.  Hard to tell now....
