Clearwater beach find

I was walking the beach with my family turned over this and saw what looked like a trilo? I now it's not but not sure what it is. For size it's 3/4" long

It looks like a fragment of a sand dollar.

The detail you are talking should be a petal of the echinoid.

I agree with sand dollar (Clypeasteroida) fragment (showing a petaloid detail).

Nice find!

I agree, sand dollar was the first thing that came to mind when I saw it.

Cool thanks for all the reply's I just never found really anything just beach combing. I also found some coral fragments, turtle shell and some other unknown bone pieces will post those pics tonight. The funny thing is normally I will pic a beach I know that has fossils to go with the family, but this time we just kinda went and was the best beach combing day I have had.

I'm not familiarized with that spot.Although I think the scleractinian corals are modern.
