Beeswax fossil treatment.

Greetings, I have a few ammonite fossils I would like to treat with varnish to improve their colour and glow but I have red that treating them with beeswax gives the fossils a more natural and less plastic looking, do you have any experience about treating fossils with beeswax? What procedure should I follow please? Thank you very much.

I use  this product all the time and am quite satisfied with it.

I use Butchers Wax with fine results.

I dissolve beeswax in turpentine and paint it on.

Thank you very much for your quick replies. How much beeswax and turpentine should I disolve please? Half beeswax and half turpentine maybe?
