Harry Pristis
Looks to me like a load of turtle shell parts plus a bovid tooth fragment and, best of all, a shark coprolite. After that, a few 'gator teeth (3 of 4, anyway). 1 http://pristis.wix.com/the-demijohn-page What seest thou else In the dark backward and abysm of time? ---Shakespeare, The Tempest
GeschWhat
That is one mighty fine coprolite you have there! However, I'm not sure if I would classify it as shark poo. I'm not really seeing a spiral structure in the photos. The shape reminds me more of a turtle dropping. That said, when it comes to coprolites, it is nearly impossible to identify their originators. You could try using your finger to trace the grove to see if it does have a spiral shape. If so, it could be from a number of different fish. Along with sharks, rays, skates, birchirs, coelacanths, lungfish, and others can also have spiral valves which can give their droppings a spiral shape. See "Strange turtle anatomy" here: http://www.pasttime.org/2013/06/episode-3-field-guide-whats-a-reptile/ Do or do not. There is no try. - Yoda
