Going to try and make a sifter but my girlfriend suggests just to buy one. Is see they make ones with 1/2", 1/4" and so on. squali Posted July 1, 2017 Share Posted July 1, 2017 Nice finds and video! As far as screens go I have found that the finer the mesh the more you will find. Down here in south jersey I use a 1/4" screen and a #20 sieve. the larger material comes off the 1/4" screen and the coolest fossils (to me) are found on the #20. I have found many micro vertebrae, teeth, and invertebrates this way. Good luck It's hard to remember why you drained the swamp when your surrounded by alligators.
