Fossil'n'Roll Posted August 6, 2017 Share Posted August 6, 2017 I bought these a few years ago at a local show. They were mixed in with a bunch of small Otodus and sand tiger shark teeth. I don't remember if the vendor said where they came from and I didn't write it down, but I think Morocco is likely. I have no idea what these might be. Any possible id would be greatly appreciated. Since you said that they are from Morocco, my guess it that the species is Myliobatis dixoni, which is the most common (and probably only) eagle ray from Paleogene Morocco If you're a fossil nut from Palos Verdes, San Pedro, Redondo Beach, or Torrance, feel free to shoot me a PM!
