Third annual TFF Secret Santa!

That’s a shame for Filipe! But it’s  weird though; I sent him a package once too last year (actually my first ever fossil trade ^_^), and it got delivered easily and pretty fast. I guess that what helps is the fact that in the Netherlands you don’t have to fill in any forms or so, and so the postage company has no clue to what’s inside.

REASONS FOR YNOT'S PACKAGE NOT TO ARRIVE

- The agent got confused and thought Portugal was an Indonesian island, inwhich you will never see it again.

-The original box was used as a makeshift soccer ball for a rousing game in the back warehouse. ( I've gotten a few that look like that!)

-You wrote the address in hieroglyphics.

-The plane went down at sea and the package is on a deserted island next to a volleyball named Wilson.

-Vieira is just stockpiling your trades (NOT!)

-Your package is being delivered on a Galapagos Tortoise. (Tidgy!!!)

Seriously,  who knows why we must be tortured like this?!!!

Haha Doren, especially the fourth one made me laugh! Cast Away was indeed a great movie :)

First option seems VERY unrealistic btw ;):P

Well I am currently investigating Dorens package, just to see when it was sent and such. I expected David’s to be slow just due to the nature of his Santa lately, being busy and such.

Hopefully Dorens package is on the way and soon to arrive

Santa is busy this time of year?

 Doing what?!

The elves do all the work, he just has to do his thing one night a year.

Isn't He busy making His lists and checking them twice. That has to take some time.

You are right - it is all the elves fault!! (the ones that work in guvnment jobs.)

I've seen the movies!  The elves do the list as well.  They just give it to the old man right before he takes flight.  Honestly, I'm surprised the little guys haven't offed him yet.  They do the work and he reaps the rewards.

When was the last time they got any milk and cookies?!

I hope that the package is not forwarded by Fedex ! (A great movie with a great Tom Hanks !).

What is really strange is He has received His package for this year, which was mailed after the re-posting of My package.

The Portuguese customs are horrible and very strange indeed.

I received the package of this Santa very fast and without problems.... I made several trades with US members and I received all the packages. Some of them with complications but at the end I received all.

I don't know why they not want release the Tony package :(. Anyway I made a reclamation by email and I'm waiting for answers.

Portugal is the only EU country I ship to re work and there are always problems. I’ve just had to resend something out to a client of mine which puts me out of pocket.

"puts me out of pocket" ...well, you'd just better get back in that pocket young man or your father will hear about this!

Nothing in today's postal quest.

Doren I don’t want you to go giftless this X-Mas, so I dropped a small Priority box in the mail just now for you. I’m not sure, but it may contain something mammal related, hope you like what I sent. Tracking will be PM’d to you.

Well  i think  santa won't be in time this  year.

Let's have a positive attitude and let 's call it ndw year secret gift instead of secret santa.

Wow, day two of not getting any mail. Not even any ads.

My conspiracy theory is the mail carrier is stealing all my junk mail.   a fella can dream can't he?!

Well we have two more delivery days left to make it by Christmas and five more after that to squeeze it into this year. So I am not giving up on 2017 just yet.

To avoid any delays, we will be sending out next years SS gifts in January.

We can always just call it "The Fossil Forum's Great Winter Gift Exchange."  That at least gives a three month window to get the gifts.
