ynot
OK,I finally got some time to play with My microscope.I spent the last 3 hours trying to get pictures of some of the finds from this nano matrix. Here are the pictures I have taken so far... Group shot of some fish and assorted other things (no scale) The rest of the pictures were taken at the same magnification level (3.5 millimeters top to bottom). Here is a picture of the scale... Here are some fish teeth.... Two angles of same tooth... And a different fish tooth... 4 Darwin said: " Man sprang from monkeys." Will Rogers said: " Some of them didn't spring far enough." ynot
I was really hoping to find some dermal denticles (placoderm scales), which is why I was searching this nano matrix. I surpassed My wildest dreams with what I found. Most will only lay one way so it is hard to get more than one view. Here are some more... 1 Darwin said: " Man sprang from monkeys." I saw a placoid scale posted from STH here on TFF but think they are pretty rare in STH matrix. I think that I was using a finer screen, have lots of things that are under 0.25 mm in what I have searched. That being said, most of the placoid scales (that I found) should have been "caught" by Your 0.4 mm screen. I posted a placoid scale, 2 years ago, and @PA Fossil Finder added one to the thread.
