Aubrie1221
Has anyone ever has success in Volusia county? I know the st. John's has many creeks and streams that run off of it. I'm really curious about these areas, I just dont know where I have access to. Any guidance is helpful!
Sacha
I've been in DeLand for the last 10 years and am not aware of any sites in our county that are technically legal. Finds used to be made around the springs, but they are now obviously off limits.
Aubrie1221
Thank you for your reply! I am also in DeLand. There is a quarry right by Blue Springs that would probably be a good spot but I was assuming that's probably off limits. I know there's a lot of creeks off St. John's around here, like Spring Creek and Snake Creek. I am too scared alligators to get too crazy exploring for fossils. I just wish I didn't have to drive so far for any luck!
