abyssunder
I agree with Hans. Not a coral, but the spongy structure leads me in two direction: sponge or bone. I'm inclined to believe it is bone with trabecular structure. 1 " We are not separate and independent entities, but like links in a chain, and we could not by any means be what we are without those who went before us and showed us the way. Some formations may have both terrestrial and marine environments or exclusively one or the other. Location could rule out sponge or bone. Also, other fossils found in the immediate area are very good clues too. Are you able to provide any of that info?
