Composite tail

Fossil Claw

Recommended Posts

I bought this cool composite amphibian/dinosaur tail from a forum member.

He does not remember the species or location for these vertebrae.

I am thinking they might be Apachesaurus sp. as I have seen similar composite tails for sale.

Any idea how I can identify the species?

Champsosaur. :)

Thanks.  That reminds me, I forgot I have a Champsosaur vertebrae or two stored away in a box somewhere.

I will have to compare them when it arrives.
