I have about 50 smaller teeth and other fossils from that trip that I'll be posting on the hunting trips forum one of these days when I get them all prepped and sorted. 2

PaleoNoel Posted January 15, 2019 Posted January 15, 2019 That phytosaur tooth is an awesome find! I hope to go hunting in the triassic for fossils like that someday. 2
FossilsAnonymous Posted January 15, 2019 Posted January 15, 2019 I love the phytosaur tooth. I just read your post on the overall haul as well! Amazing how many specimens you found. I agree with PaleoNoel, hunting in the Triassic would be great indeed. 2 On The Hunt For The Trophy Otodus!

Al Tahan Posted January 27, 2019 Posted January 27, 2019 Here is my FOTM entry! I’m going to join Kane on the trilobite train . I finally figured out this is a Kainops invius trilobite (no pun intended haha). I found this on January 9th 2019 and prepped it on January 26th 2019. Kainops invius Geologic formation: Bois D’Arc Formation Geologic age: Lower Devonian Location: Clarita, Oklahoma (Theisons quarry) this is what it looked like out of the ground and after I took off some over burden...all I had was a ball of rock with a trilobite well hidden inside. Aaaaaand here’s the final product!!!! My first prep job ever. Im still a rookie and I see where I could have done more but I’m still happy with it That’s all for my FOTM entry. Good luck everyone! TNGray Posted January 27, 2019 Posted January 27, 2019 Found on December 12, 2018, Self Prepared January 27, 2019 Ogygiocarella sp. (debuchi?) trilobite Middle Ordovician, Llanvirn Series West Shropshire, UK Found during a weeklong venture in the UK. The small bug seems to have molted and the inverted molt separated into two pieces. Unfortunately, I failed to take a specific "before" pic so I included a "sample". It is in the pile seen in the pic but too small to be discerned...;) Update! Found the counterpart for "unprepared" condition. 11
