Spinosaurid hand phalanx?

Hi,

Wanted to ask whether this hand phalanx bone resembles a Spinosaurid hand phalanx or whether it might be something else like from a croc or another theropod group (it looks somewhat hollow). It is quite a large bone at about 24.5cm in length and is from the kem kem (it has also had some small repair work). Thanks in advance.

There are straighter pictures, but they are closeups of different parts of the bone.....not sure if the bone is straight or slightly curved based on the pics.

I think its okay but you really need images of the complete carpal that are straight in otherwise its a guess.

This is the published bone believe its Digit III, phalanx 1

Thanks Troodon, i agree it is most likely going to be a guess. I might be wrong, but the bone in question looks a bit different to your bone, maybe it is due to the preservation? (bone in question hasn't had the best preservation). Either way if i get a straight up picture of the complete bone, i will update the thread.

Not sure much else would fit that size but the distal end is a bit different but it might be due to compression, difficult to tell
