Rosemary
I presumed this to be just coral until I saw some pics of bryozoans that looked liked faces. Is this coral?
TqB
It does appear to be a tabulate coral, probably a favositid. What's the scale? 1 Tarquin

Rosemary
This pic of bryozoans is what caused me to reconsider it as coral.
abyssunder
I think I see shared walls / conjoined corallites in your specimen, so I go with Tarquin. ClearLake
Your picture of bryozoans makes me just want to scream! I like it!! Note the scale difference between the picture of the bryozoan (very small polygons) and your much larger polygons on the the coral sample. That is a critical difference. Rosemary
Thank you for pointing out the small and larger polygons. The wonderful photo I compared my to is from https://www.reddit.com/r/Pareidolia/comments/2bntvy/life_is_good_everybody_dance_bryozoan_colony/
