Wow! What a terrific virtual tour of a place most of us will never have the chance of visiting. A real visual treat! Thanks for taking us along. ;)

Cheers.

Great trip summary!! Thank you for all the pics and information. It reminds of hunting Calvert Cliffs MD, very similar in everything except the types of fossils found...

You must get out more frequently so that keep the pictures coming!!! Very nice presentation and fossil examples.

Fossil hunting is easy -- they don't run away when you shoot at them!

Thanks everybody for your kind words:) Спасибо, Миша

Thanks, Ludwigia, I thought wood, sponge or coral, it has slightly conical shape, never seen such before. Tidgy's Dad, I like that gastropod too, its unusually pyritised yet in good condition, which is rare in that place.

I enjoyed your report. It is a wonderful feature of the Forum; member's accounts that allow a glimpse of far away places.

Thanks for taking us along.

I bet you could break apart some of those blocks and find fresh ammonites..?

Nice ammonites and snail, I just hope they don't get pyrite disease and disintegrate. Is that a big problem with those specimens and is there some treatment you use for it?

Добро пожаловать на наш Форум!

I was curious what the secret message was, so I used Google:

I am from Perm,
We have a lot of minerals, but now I live in the States, here I found belemnites, seashells, fish and so on.
Sometimes you want to come back and in the future I probably will do it anyway.
