Is this a shark coprolite? Found with Eocene shark teeth in south central Alabama. Feels lighter than a rock of the same size. Is about 1cm x 2.5cm

I don't see the spiral structure indicative of shark coprolites in either example.

All shark poop is spiraled one way or another, but not all spiral poops come from sharks.

At least that is what I have heard.

They certainly should sine they all have a spiral intestine. This specimen lacks any such marking and might merely be a phosphatic nodule.
