Shark coprolite

Is this a shark coprolite? Found with Eocene shark teeth in south central Alabama. Feels lighter than a rock of the same size. Is about 1cm x 2.5cm

I found this shark coprolite pic on the Internet. Looks like it.

I don't see the spiral structure indicative of shark coprolites in either example.

I've been told that the spiral is diagnostic, but what in life is 100%?

I dont know if it helps but heres a picture of miocene shark poop i found.

I'm not really seeing a spiral (nor scroll) structure either. Based on the photos, it seems to have a metallic sheen to it.

All shark poop is spiraled one way or another, but not all spiral poops come from sharks.

At least that is what I have heard.

They certainly should sine they all have a spiral intestine. This specimen lacks any such marking and might merely be a phosphatic nodule.

Perfectly true
