Strepsodus
I found this in a coal mining tip in South Yorkshire (UK). It is upper Carboniferous aged. Can anyone identify it please? The only possibility I can think of is millipede. It measures around 1 inch. Thanks, Daniel

I see probable grid like plant imprints in the area circled in red. I suspect that the whole wavy lighter orange red area is a poorly preserved plant impression and not a millipede. My goal is to leave no stone or fossil unturned. See my Arizona Paleontology Guide link The best single resource for Arizona paleontology anywhere. Plants are very abundant at the site where I found this so there is a strong possibility that it is plant.
