Ptychodus04
Ralph, @Nimravis sent me a beautiful amazon Creek jellyfish (forgot to take a picture of it) and apparently knowing me well, an un-prepped partial rhino upper skull from the White River Formation!! Of course, I waited until this morning to open it up (you can’t prove otherwise) and got right to prepping. Here it is out of the box: And, after some heavy scribe work. It is coming along nicely! P.S. Apparently, according to @minnbuckeye ‘s SS drawing. Santa looks just like me! 12 Regards, Kris Global Paleo Services, LLC https://globalpaleoservices.com http://instagram.com/globalpaleoservices http://instagram.com/kris.howe
sixgill pete
Looks like everyone has been well pleased with their gifts. As for me, yes I was. My goodies came from the northwest, Washington State. When I saw that address upon recieving my box, my pulse quickened. I was thinking crabs. Well, I was not disappointed. But there were other goodies. Pictures coming soon. 1 Bulldozers and dirt Bulldozers and dirt behind the trailer, my desert Them red clay piles are heaven on earth I get my rocks off, bulldozers and dirt Patterson Hood; Drive-By Truckers May 2016 May 2012 Aug 2013, May 2016, Apr 2020 Oct 2022
I_gotta_rock
I, too, received a package from Ontario. I think it was Santa's southern satellite workshop and I must have been very good. Thank you, @Monica and Viola! They're beautiful! You must have borrowed the Jolly guy's magic snowball. Maple Sugar Candy is my absolute favorite and vey hard to get around here. This is a detail of the one above on the right. Each of these bits is about 1 mm across! 9 I refuse to give up my childish wonder at the world. Monica
Viola and I have been revealed as Santa's elves from Ontario!!! We're glad that both @Ludwigia and @I_gotta_rock are enjoying their fossil gifts from us, as well as the little maple sugar candies we included (they are delicious, aren't they?! ). Merry Christmas to you both, and everyone else here on TFF!!!

Darktooth
I would like to start out by saying Thank-you so much to my Secret Santa! Since this member joined the forum I have been the recipient of numerous gifts from this very generous person. Despite the fact I sometime busts his chops, ( in a good natured way) he continues to amaze me with his generosity. Here are the items that I received from Santa. Ammonite Polished mammoth tooth slice Trilobite 3 Mason creek nodules Brachiopod hashplate 2 Green River fish Brachiopod 2 bull shark teeth Sponge? Echinoid Champasaurus vert Unknown? I want my Santa to know that I appreciate his gifts and kindness very much. 8 I like Trilo-butts and I cannot lie.

Darktooth
FYI- I KNOW THAT I WAS GIVING MEMBERS A HARD TIME ABOUT OPENING THEIR GIFTS EARLY. WELL I AM A FRAUD, I OPENED MINE ABOUT 3 DAYS AFTER I GOT MY PACKAGE. I am just a big kid at heart. I like Trilo-butts and I cannot lie.

This elf will be taking note of that and making sure you just get a bundle of sticks for your presents from now on. You may even get a Krampus visit! **Just in case you get excited, the sticks will not be fossilized! Apparently Yoda makes for a lousy guard, because he allowed you to slip over to the Darkside.
Pagurus
I confess I waited as long as I could but finally unwrapped and unwrapped and unwrapped my well-concealed treasure just a little early, on the first night of Chanukah, TDA (Two Days Ago). I carefully peeled away each and every plastic bag, fifteen in all, surrounding the highly anticipated gift from my environmentally conscious Santa, who heeded the written urge printed on each bag, "Reduce, Reuse, Recycle". Well, I'm not sure about "Reduce", but fifteen bags were surely reused well, as the enclosed fossil arrived in perfect condition. Thanks, Santa! My secretive and most generous Santa sent me this wonderful partial skull! Without a label, I'm not quite certain what it's from, though. Oreodont? I would be grateful for an ID. Thank you, and happy holidays, season's greetings, Merry Christmas to all! And to all a good night. 10 Start the day with a smile and get it over with. caldigger
Looks like Oreodont to me. I get down right gitty when I get sent those thin shopping bags in a package. They have been banned from grocery stores and many retail establishments in this area. I reuse mine until they completely fall apart, then use as stuffing for packaging.

caldigger
Mike, you just need to tell the grandkids that these are special toys that have to stay at grandpa's house, and they need to have adult supervision when playing with them. That way you get to play too...and while they're away!
