So a member should be receiving something in a couple days. Apparently I was the recipient of this box of goodies and somehow made it on the nice list. A couple of trilobite parts from the mid. Devonian Period of Briggs Road, Earlville, New York. An Eocene Echinoid- Echinolampas appendiculatus from North Carolina's Castle Hayne Formation. A yummy grouping of Brachiopods and Crinoid segments from Arkona, Ontario Canada. What a delight Dave, thank you very much!!! I hope you and the family have a great New Year. I had to utilize the paper towels provided as padding to soak up the drool.

There is only one crinoid segment in this picture (the spiky one). The other three are the “button coral,” Microcyclus. The spirifers are Devonian, but the two brachs above the button coral are Ordovician (possibly Rhynchotrema sp.). 2 ...How to Philosophize with a Hammer

I had to utilize the paper towels provided as padding to soak up the drool. Just a little something for all you do to make the forum a happier place. The Eldregeops rana represent some of the biggest trilo bits of the species that I have found. The cephalon is definately huge for Eldregeops. The other specimen I have studied quite a bit. You can see part of a cephalon sticking out from the left hand side of the specimen. I am not quite sure but I don't think the cephalon that is sticking out actually belongs to this trilo. The thorax is inflated so I think that the cephalon is still attached and buried under the other cephalon and matrix. A little prep could reveal more. The brachs, coral, and crinoids are courtesy of @Kane. Last spring he gave me a box crammed full of Canadian fossils. After me and the kids picked through what we wanted to keep there was still so much left so I have been paying it forward and letting the kids group at my club pick things to keep. A few things went into auctions for the Forum. I thought maybe you would enjoy some as well. Hope 2019 will be good to you! Dave 6 I like Trilo-butts and I cannot lie.
