I posted this in another thread some time ago but since Tony's egging us on I hatched a plan to re-post an old photo instead of just winging it:

attachicon.gifduck.jpg

I was positive it was a fossil duck but a certain avian-loving moderator assured me it was really a baby penguin. Other TFF members appreciated the rarity of a smoking bird and the incredible preservation of the fossil smoke. I'm rather proud of it.

Great, you should use it for a movie : " The smoking Jay".:hearty-laugh:

Yup, that's definately an alien brain. I used to do alien autopsies for the MIB, and can confirm.

post-16101-0-74244300-1469540742.jpg post-16101-0-90591800-1469540768.jpeg

I suspect it is a brain from one of the Kryzznack people, left during the planetary invasion of the late Cretaceous. It was actually the Kryzznackians who made the dinosaurs go extinct, when one of their cruise ships exploded near the Yucatan peninsula. Those Kryzznackians really know how to party!

Haha...that was just fun!

I especially like the smoking bird! I've been caught looking long and hard at more than one mineral stain. Craig, your "vertebra" still looks like a water worn vert to me!

Hey Hi Y'All,

I found a petrified eye just like John's, but mine must be from a different critter.

Tony, the leading paleontologist at University of California at Hollywood has identified your eye as having come from the rare marine Cretaceous sea monster, the Cbsaurus. Compare your fossil with a photo from the internet.
