No soup leftovers - my husband LOVES soup, and he LOVES shrimp, so he finished it off (I think he had 3 big bowls!!!) :default_faint:

There are only 40 cookies left (the four of us ate 11 so far), so unless you can get here in the next 4 days, you'll be out of luck :P

Just my luck...  With the mandatory lock downs I can't even sneak out for a quick draft at my local pub:-(  Looks like your family will get to enjoy the remaining cookies as well....

Things have been changing down under but I am still working at the moment.

Had been holding out for months so that now as it gets cooler I could go fossicking, not a hope now.

Queensland Australia has closed its border to the other States so unless you have a valid reason to enter you will now be turned back.

Among the banned activities are fishing from boats and in groups larger than two and fossicking, must be to encourage the last of the tourists to go home.

The outback regions where the fossicking is done have basically said don't visit as they do not want the virus in there region.

Still need to be among the first in the door of the supermarkets when they open to get toilet paper ( there must be people who have stockpiles hoarded that will last for years).

Prepping is looking good when I get shut down so I have been collecting supplies, but not specimens so hoping for some nice specimens among what I have in the shed.

Should not be too bad as there are a couple of specimens I have been putting off due to time that is needed.

For now I have given up. I watch "Le Bon Coin" to buy a used one"...

Good luck going to work with your equipment, it might take you a little time ! Use a trip meter so you don’t drive more than you need to, at the risk of going beyond your workplace :default_rofl:

Haha that a skill to learn, anything to stop the boredom. I sometimes do the washing of the dishes , with my arms tucked in to my body. It makes me smile because it is like been a TRex washing the pots. :)

I’ve been spending my time primarily reading, hiking and browsing TFF. Here are a couple pictures I’ve taken from trail I like to hike near my house the last couple of days.

BD179600-62FB-4B13-B43F-2EFC9611C8D2.jpeg

Sequoia sempervirens (Not sure how to rotate pic on my phone, sorry guys, this is what one looks like when it has fallen down :P)

Next up is a Pacific Trillium,Trillium ovatum, these were popping off like crazy in the understory.

Clover! This is Redwood Sorel, Oxalis oregana, it might sound weird but I really enjoy eating this stuff raw, you just gotta makes sure that you pick it off the beaten path. A lot of people walk their dogs around here if you catch my drift.

Some cool ferns.

Lady Fern Athyrium filix-femina.

Western Maidenhair Fern Adiantum aleuticum.

And to cap it all off... a cool unidentified mushroom. Maybe a Crimson Waxcap?
