Romaniceras specimens, especially at this size and in this condition, are relatively uncommon in the hills that I hunt. I was fortunate to find it and very happy with how it cleaned up. Thank you for voting this ammonite as Fossil of the Month...it most definitely was for me. When I last looked, I was certain it was going to be back to back Trilobite wins...pretty swell to to snag a win.
