Kane
Very nice, Bobby. I may be somewhat partial to trilobites, and this is one I don't yet have an example of. 1 ...How to Philosophize with a Hammer

Kane
Very nice! I do confess a fondness for the Welsh fossils, including our dear mutual friend who has a tortoise. 1 1 ...How to Philosophize with a Hammer
Bobby Rico
Something a little different from the last, a Acastocephala macrops from Much Wenlock, Shropshire. Dates to the Mid Silurian Period. It’s heads has flipped other this is a nice trick if you can get away with it but sadly I don’t think this bug was so lucky.

This may be C. nuda, not C. tenuis. Same area, though. 3 ...How to Philosophize with a Hammer

Kane
It looked positive in the photo. Optical illusion! The seller felt bad about not disclosing it (an honest mistake; he now does disclose that). I've broke rock with the lad, so he owes me a favour next time we're in the field together. 1 ...How to Philosophize with a Hammer

Kane
Very nice. A number of years ago, a fellow fossil comrade visited me from Georgia and gifted me a big bucket of that material for me to split. It was the gift that kept on giving, and especially now that the site is posted, so no more collecting. We have to treasure those Cambrian beauties from Georgia! The limonite halo really makes them pop. 1 2 ...How to Philosophize with a Hammer
