Unknown small fossils from Yorktown Formation

Hello all!

We have these small fossils from the Yorktown Formation that we are not sure what they are. They fizzle under HCl!

Any help would be appreciated.

BTW, the divisions on the scale bar are 5mm.

Thanks so much!

They are the carinae from goose barnacles. I'll have to look through my reference to find the exact species.

edit: It might be Scalpellum for the genus.

According to this paper, they are Scalpellum multangulatum, and the type area is the Yorktown Formation in Petersburg Virginia.
