piranha
Hi Henry, If you can count approximately 30 axial rings, then Alokistocare (=Altiocculus) is a good bet. The trilobites labeled Elrathia (?) are cone-in-cone calcite encrustations. Think of it as a Paleozoic Xerox All of these skeletal encrustations are interpreted to have resulted from very early, microbially mediated precipitation of calcium carbonate in a biofilm halo around both decaying trilobite tissues and exoskeletal parts (typically ventral). Sinopaleus
I counted approx ~25 axial rings for now... It'll be a lot easier to count once it gets prepared Thanks!
