Haravex
Have done air line going in is flowing now, but no matter what I do now the black line isn't gripping into the port causing air loss I need to get this egg prepped and all these problems are beyond belief I really wish these machines where problem free as I've literally had no luck and feel like I've wasted money trying to get ahead in prepping and selling but it feels like literally averting is working against me. aeon.rocks
As suggested try blowing out with air gun and high psi/pressure. Not sure how your unit is put together, you might need to take it apart and clean with air gun or needle. If that doesn't work maybe some hcl acid could to the trick, but thats the last thing I would try.

Haravex
that would be one big trilobite to lay an egg that size

Haravex
Just a small update apologise for the phone quality. And yes I did resolve the abrasive issues I did have to buy a new tank and also on the old on I drilled out the mesh (no chance of pulling it out was sealed in place) which worked also.
Haravex
Hard to see much progress but it has been made and marked on the back to prep from the other side creating like a window.
Kane
Great progress so far! Are you planning on freeing it entirely from the matrix? ...How to Philosophize with a Hammer
Haravex
No if I was it would be super easy to prep now bare in mind this sketch was done on mobile but without stylus just finger but red is matrix and blue is fossil.
Malcolmt
That's an interesting prep layout, I like it and reserve the right to steal your idea next time I have one that is conducive to that type of prep. The only issue will be how thick the piece is to allow the nozzle to get in to clean the middle part of the bug. This will probably only work in a bug that is reasonably large as otherwise the stalk at kermit's mouth would end up being too fragile. Again good progress

Haravex
I'm thinking another 2 hour session should finish off the scribe work and then will have to wait until new year to do abrasion work as only have bi carb left which sadly doesn't touch the limestone.
Haravex
It's finished however it broke away which is disappointing to say the least but it fits back on so will super glue it.
