Reminds me of the classic Christmas song, but in this case we can change it to "All I want for Christmas is two shark teeth." :heartylaugh:

Here is the fossil bounty that snolly received. Who can discern the generous Secret Santa behind this gift?!?

Santa facts:

This jolly old elf appears to reside in an area where the Earth yields evidence of life, that by anyone's standards is really "old," e.g. It ain't Florida.

This Kringle takes the science side of fossil collecting seriously. Look at the detailed ID and pertinent info accompanying each fossil!

This St Nicholas is either very gracious and forgiving; or he (or she) is not linked to the Official Naughty/Nice Data Bank. Nothing else could explain how snolly qualified for a present.

Thank you Santa, your gift of the Season is appreciated and gratefully received.

I don't see any Cryptolithus trilobites and it doesn't look like the rock from this location. I do see some Spirifid brachiopods which are Devonian, I believe.

It is very likely I mixed up ID cards again. I blame the overly excited 6 year old. I will try to do better checking my work before posting. Thanks for the heads up. I think I see where we went wrong. I did give fair warning about my ignorance :P.

:thumbsu: I'm in good company. If I don't make at least one mistake a day, I'm not trying hard enough. My wife reminds me of this constantly. :heartylaugh:

I like to improve my mistake making by making one more each day than I did the day before.

MrsR made some Christmas bunting. It looks fun and full of the holiday cheer,  hanging in our dinning room.
