Then I looked at what darktooth got and it was all from morocco washington and texas, morocco and texas seem to be pretty common fossil locations so I looked for someone who lives in Washington, after I found one I tried searching their trip reports to see their handwriting but couldn't find it. I found @OwlEyes lives in Washington and has taken trips to both Texas and Morocco so that is my guess, hand the points over @Tidgy's Dad Very well. Good job! 1 Life's Good! Tortoise Friend. Tidgy's Dad
Well, it's the early hours of the last day of November here, so how is this Juggernaut of a Secret Santa Exchange getting along? First the good news, and it's mainly good news! Seven lovely people have already posted photos of what they have received from their Secret Santas and a further two have posted some of their photos. A total of 34 of the 55 gifts sent out have been confirmed to have arrived safely. A further 16 gifts are on their way and, hopefully, should be safely at their destinations by Christmas. So that's all pretty good as it is still November. But now for the bad news. I know of at least one parcel that hasn't been posted yet, and four others that haven't confirmed. Some people are not keeping me informed or replying to PMs. If there is a problem, well, these things happen and I can arrange for emergency parcels to be sent out so that everyone gets something but you must tell me what's going on! In my rules post it clearly mentions posting as early as possible several times. And especially it says : IT is important that everyone posts their packages well before any deadlines, especially this year. Everything is in flux, so better safe than sorry. Please do yourself and your partner the courtesy of posting in plenty of time. Furthermore it goes on to say : If you don't feel the rules and deadlines are suitable for you, then please refrain from signing up for this event. We have had shed loads of fun with these events in the past and hope to keep it that way. So really there is no excuse. And I get stressed and will start to cry. Anyway, mostly it is going very well, so a great big thank you to all those who are playing, contributing to this thread and enjoying the fun and photos of marvelous fossils as we go along! THANK YOU ! ! ! ! 7 Life's Good! Tortoise Friend.

Tom Reference to Tomfoolery by Brett. Use your @ key and then type in the first three or four letters of the username and select the one you want from the dropdown list that appears. Some names may take more letters but don't just type in the username, you must actually click on it. This will send an alert to that member, of course. 2 Life's Good! Tortoise Friend. Fossilis Willis
All right folks, as promised, here is the first installment of your 2020 fossil advent calender. It won't quite get you to Christmas, but close. I know that I said I'd start sometime the first week of December, but as they say, patience is a virtue. I have never been accused of being a man of virtue. I spent a little while trying to decide the order in which to post the wonderful fossils Santa sent me. I tried to enlist the Mrs Fossilis, but she showed little interest in my suggestions. But then I proposed posting them in chronological order, and she sent me a "you're such a nerd" eye roll that told me a found a winner. Happy holidays and thanks again to my Santa and all the other Santas, and to Adam and his elves.
