Crock Hay material is our closest to Mazon Creek material. Yes.. with things like this I like to have a fresh broken surface, a cut surface and a polished surface, or at least 2 out of the 3. There are 3 or 4 species of these deep bodied Madagascan fishes. I find it difficult to tell them apart. In some regards it looks like the 'stromatolites' you see for sale in both Marrakech and Agadir, but are really a geological formation like desert roses. However, these are different and resemble infilled agate geodes in some respects. Not sure, but they're very interesting.
