I might share that with you, Glossopteris being important in Paleozoic phytogeography

Yes, Glossopteris fossil distribution was used to prove continental drift :dinothumb:

I have quite a few pieces from Australia, but Glossopteris from other locations is near impossible to come by.

I managed to track down a piece from Zimbabwe (old collection), but that about it.

Another few Glossopteris plates

What I like about them is how variable and different they can be

Glossopteris are variable - but that one is quite different

This came for me today.
I usually don’t collect past the KT boundary. But there are exceptions.

I am fascinated by extant snakes. So couldn’t pass on this

And another few pieces

Not that easy to come by in the U.K.

Fairly commonly available in the US. But postage tends to be quite high :s_cry:

Graptolites aren’t my usual “thing”.
But this was a nice piece. So decided to add something different to my collection.

Good to see an informative label with that piece. Now if I ever find a piece of that stuff for myself I'll know what to put on the label.

Yes, but usually smaller pieces, or it goes too high.
