I received Saturday some very nice fossils from a trade I made with @Max-fossils

I need to get my clip on lenses on my phone for those amazing little shark teeth and ammonites.

I do too. Should be fairly simple in Excel to do.

I bought this awesome Maryland Giant Thresher from @Calvert Cliff Dweller, who is a great source for Calvert Cliff fossils and a pleasure to deal with. These guys a very rare in MD, and it is pretty big at a little over 1.2 inches. I reckon it will be a few years more till I find one of these beauts myself.

You never know.

However, that's a pretty amazing tooth! :)

Awesome! I have some meteorites in my collection! They’re my favorite thing to collect after fossils and tektites! :D (I have a few pallasites, as well. A couple of them chipped, sadly. :( One got repaired, but the other still needs some repairing.)

Pallasites are also high up my wishlist!
But like you say they are indeed quite fragile when kept under wrong conditions and they are quite pricey as well.

Thanx, it's been something that was on my wishlist for a long time, happy to have got it! :)

You’re very welcome!

Pallasites definitely need to be handled with care! I had to learn that the hard way, unfortunately. :( They’re fragile no matter what you do and they have to be maintained, as wel. Something that I definitely was not prepared for when I got my first one. Make sure to research pallasites and caring for them before you purchase one. That’s something that I regret not doing.

It’s a very nice piece of Burmite! I hope that you enjoy your lovely new treasure! ;)

Yeah I was indeed planning on doing some research first, they are bit too pricy to let it crumble and turn to dust.
When I plan on buying one, I was planning to display it in a safe and secure (probably air-tight) display box and I might treat it with something to keep it safe, maybe coat it in paraloid or with renaissance wax, but I'll have to research it first wether those are save for pallasites).
So yeah that's probably something for in the future when I've done more research on it. :)

And thanx, I love my new piece of burmite, can't wait to get a more powerfull microscope to study it even better :)

@Adam86cucv glad you liked them; the ammonites and shark teeth are great fun to look at. :) The shells you sent me are truly awesome!

Thanks both; I actually simply use the Table option in Google Docs (I am very Google Drive-loyal, because for me it's the easiest way to take all my documents along wherever I go). Whenever I have to make new labels for a new trade, I just copy an older document (so that I don't have to remake all the formatting and stuff) then just change the text accordingly. Once you've done your first document it's super easy and efficient to do :D
