Very nice package, nice guy, I like those magnetic heads very cool.  That bone fragment is a great gift especially since you can tie it to a known animal.   However I need to point out to you AGAIN that all those cool drugstore toys are not dinosaurs.  The last time you put yourself in the naughty corner, guess there was little learning in that spot.  Need to find a better location. :D

That is super cool! How did you get a piece of this? I’ve tried looking it up online and I’m not very successful.

I could imagine that they sold out in just a matter of hours then (depending on how many they had to start with). Congrats on obtaining this amazing piece!

Added  too my fossil display the lovely gift from @Peat Burns 1970s Dinosaur toys and one of my favourite creatures the Dimetrodon are made by Tim Mee toys. Dimetrodon is assigned to the "non-mammalian synapsids"

I think they are really cool toys .

Those old 1970s Tim Mee dinosaurs (et al.) are my favorite.  Every time I see one, it warms my heart with childhood nostalgia. So glad you like them.

Ha ha  have to laugh,  I see you singled out Mr Dimetrodon.  Its a shame he's not a Dino would fit the bill perfectly.  Nature must of agreed since... did you know...he was reincarnated as Spinosaurus :o.  Your critters look great with the rest of your fossils.

Ha glad you spotted it was going to tag you in but I thought it would be funnier if you spotted it yourself. Thank you for your kind comments and for adding to the enjoyment of this thread.   :dinothumb:

Hi Folks, I’d like to offer up a quiz, just for fun…

The are 31 questions in total, so 62 points up for grabs.

Plus, a bonus question with a possible of 5 extra points – there are no wrong answers with this one so points from the other rounds cannot be lost, but it could just make yours a winning score if you go for it.

Please submit all answers to me by PM only, it’s a quiz people so don’t give away the answers.

Here’s the rub though folks:

One single wrong answer means that no double points are given for any of the other questions you answer correctly

Example: if you answer all 31 questions however you only get 30 correct you only get 30 points.

BUT…….

……. if you only answer 20 but you answer 20 correctly, you get double points = 40

So for an all out max score of 62 ALL 31 questions need to be correct.

TIP………

……. if you are unsure of a question you can choose to skip answering it to avoid risking the loss of double points on others you are sure of.

FILMS & TV

1:         Name the British TV show

2:         Name the film

3:         Name the film

4:         Name the U.S. TV show

5:         Name the old black & white film (one of my personal favourites)

6:         What is in the container Will Ferrell is holding?

7:         Name the film

8:         Name the U.S. TV show

9:         Name the film

10:       Name the film

11:       Name the film

12:       Name the stop-motion model animation designer

13:       Name the film this creature is from

14:       Name the film

Possible of 28 points

PLASTIC FANTASTIC

15-22:  Identify the vintage plastic dinosaurs            - caution! ….. some of these are not what they seem………

Remember if you’re not sure, resist from answering at this risk of loosing double points from correct answers.

Possible of 16 points

PSYCHADELLIC SILLOUHETTS

23-26: Identify the Cretaceous dinosaur species

Possible of 8 points

WHO’s WHO

27-31: Name the famous Palaeontologists and Dinosaur Hunters

Possible of 10 points

BONUS QUESTION worth 5 extra points

And finally, here’s the chance to bag an extra 5 points, remember there are no wrong answers with this one so points from the other rounds cannot be lost, but it could just make yours a winning score if you go for it.

It’s as simple as this - Best Caption Wins . Mrs Rico will decide who takes the points.

Answers need to be in by Saturday 6th July.

I’ll post up the answers Sunday, and notify the winner in the week.

Although it is for fun, there will be prize of some original art work, which is currently in the making.

Happy Quizzing, Bobby

This is meant for a garden...but I thought it was pretty neat so I picked it up from Marshalls Lol.  Any Marshalls or TJ Maxx for some reason usually carries a good amount of dinosaur stuff..  like decoration and what not. I’m a fan.
