How about something like this:

Sung to:  Oh My Darling Clementine
Great big dinosaurs, great big dinosaurs,
Lived so long ago
Some liked land and some liked water,
Some flew in the air.

Great big dinosaurs, great big dinosaurs,
Lived so long ago
Some had horns and some had spikes,
Some had wings like bats.

Great big dinosaurs, great big dinosaurs,
Lived so long ago
Some ate plants and some ate meat,
But now there are no more

Hmmmm.

Still, clementines are quite acceptable at Christmas.

Actually, I'm not sure Clementines are in season this time of year.

Would you settle for a nice Haas Avacado?

I'm still waiting for those Japanese oranges to show up in stores over here! What's taking so long??

Ha! That would put our Dept. Of Ag. in an uproar sending foriegn fruit through the mail.

California is so strict on any produce coming into the state I'd never see it.

I'm not in California. Send some to me & I'll carefully describe the taste to caldigger. ;)

Obviously, you've never had candied orange peels.

The English marmalade is really bitter, much less sugar than its American counterpart and I loved it!

Well it does appear many of the packages this year are getting on the road in a very timely manner.

Let's just hope the customs officials are in a good mood and slide things along just as smoothly.

This is shaping up to be a great year so far!

Just remember not to give too many hints as to what is being sent. We want it to be a total surprise. ;)

A box full of bubble wrap!  I mean seriously who doesn't love bubble wrap?  :trilosurprise:

Yes indeed and only 47 days before we open our presents, can’t wait . I will be bubble and gift wrapping mine tonight and hopefully posting it out on Saturday. Secret Santa is a great fun opportunity to get to know members you may not have meet before now.

Hours of family fun!  Seriously, who needs board games when the entire group can sit around the fireplace popping endlessly.

I give all my bubble wrap to wifey.

She sits there popping it for hours, but it stops her from nattering so i love the stuff.

You're a riot Adam. It's between you and snolly for Forum Jester... a few others are close behind but I think you two are the frontrunners. :hearty-laugh:

My package is packed up and ready to go, just have to get it to the PO!  (hey, I'm a poet and I had no idea)

Is the recipient supposed to know who the secret Santa is before he / she opens it on Christmas? In other words, is it okay to put a return address on the package?

Tony, I am sure that will be fine. We just don't want participants to know who it is coming from before they get it.

All the international players are having to put sender's info due to customs needs.

Work for the US

Doesn't work for overseas where you can fill out a customs form.

I always put a return address, in case I messed up the mailing address.

Return addresses are fine, just dont go texting your partner to let them know it's on the way!

The Secret has to last until the package is recieved.

*For you international shippers, It would be a good Idea to hold onto those mailing receipts and customs slips until you know your partner has gotten the package.
