I’m leaving, but I’ll be back soon to tell you ! Sara already had time to tell me that she had a nice time with JP and his wife. She spent New Year’s Eve at the post office, but the postmen were nice to her, they heard her in her box and they sang Christmas songs to her. We first discovered the plaster done last month, under the Pakura"gaze, the mistress of the place. Then Sara was very interested in the pellet stove (compressed wood pellets) all electronic, adjustable from a phone Then, she observed both the kitchen and the dining room - living room by settling on the wide opening pass-dishes, whose vault (IPN, metal beam) was laid just before the summer holidays. After the visit, we shared a dinner aperitif, but Sara was tired and preferred to take a nap. Their house is a former hunting lodge, so great, with land, and a fireplace in which one can enter in full ! Then Sara met the mistress of the place, Gillette! But she was more interested in the sausage than in Sara... Well, good for her ! During the aperitif, Sara went straight to the radishes, one of the few vegetarian things ! Then she found this hedgehog funny, she enjoyed another kind of radish as well as yellow and red tomatoes. I’m not going to tell you about the end of the evening, because in front of beers (with or without bitter beer), rum, Soho, whiskey and other drinks that Sara is not used to, she was very curious and tasted several of them, so she preferred to go to bed early... But now she has all her energy back ! Yesterday she asked me to come to my gym because she needed to move and see all the athletes there... I asked her to put all her weight on my dumbbells and the appliances I used, and she was thrilled, it amused her. Sara worked out too. There she was having fun jumping from dumbbell to dumbbell. Coco Posted January 20, 2023 Share Posted January 20, 2023 (edited) After the gym, we went to the park next to my house for a 30-minute jog. As she got out of the car, Sara’s eyes were drawn to something in the lawn. As a curious little girl she asked me to look closer. Sara discovered some mushrooms, some Gyromitra ambigua, we observed them, but we didn’t touch them because they’re toxic ! It was cold (3° C = 39° F) and the temperature was too low for Sara, but she still wanted to discover this wonderful place. So I first kept it warm at the edge of my clothes to get into the park. When we were ready to run, Sara told me quietly that she was cold but still wanted to go with me, so I put her in my neck warmer and we went. 1/2 of jogging in the woods with the birds, waiting for last night’s more serious session. Back in the car, Sara told me that she had fallen asleep because my cool rhythm, my regular breathing and the damp heat of my body lulled her. Happy Sara ! Here the picture is taken from the main entrance of the park, at the end of the central alley leading to the castle. I explained to Sara that this park was the capital of Poland during the Second World War and that you can visit some blockhouses there. Since Sara got here, we have spent long evenings discussing my current and fossil sea urchins, my recent selachian jaws, my orchids and my Redonian sediment that I sort from time to time. Here the temperatures remain low, but for example today we have a beautiful sunny day. it’s been a long time since I’ve given any news about Sara, but she’s doing fine. She’s enjoying sweet Anjou and tonight I’m taking her to celebrate a birthday, that of my clown colleague. Several days ago, Sara saw recent shells arriving at my house, she helped me open the package and was very curious, she wanted to see them up close.
