Nice bug, Bobby.:)

wifey was kind enough to order me a replacement of a blastoid I'd lost during our move to Morocco, and the seller supplied me with three!

I also got another rarer blastoid species and lots of brachiopods (pictures not included).

I try really hard to stick to my 4 main groups of interest....

But this Mamites Ammonite was too tempting.

We left town for a day and a half but some pretty awesome fossils we were waiting for us. First up, the second of the three dinosaur claws we found arrived. According to @hxmendoza this is most likely an Avian claw. Hell Creek Formation, Harding County South Dakota. Very small and missing the tip but otherwise in excellent shape.

Next up are some pretty cool Paleozoic fossils.

Listracanthus “feather” denticle. This was a gift from @connorp . Very generous and a very nice example.

Diplacanthus- a very nice Acanthodian fish from the Old Red Sandstone from Scotland.

Denticle from the Harding Sandstone.

Thrinacodus teeth from Iowa. Mississippian.

Micro matrix from Genudewa Limestone, New York. Can’t wait to go through this !!

Some pretty small but important fossils to our programs. The shark and fish material really help fill in the early history of sharks. The claw is a big deal in the Dino programs and helps in the bird program we will be attempting to put together.

Something about this piece caught my eye and I had to get it-

Placosmilia vidali from the Cretaceous of Spain. I also used the new 2 cm cube that I received from Ray @aerogrower.

I got one of those too... It looks like a Paleozoic horn coral but it's the same age as my local fossils (Santonian).

Did the seller claim it was Palaeoxyris? If so I would see about returning it because, as others said, it’s most likely a poorly preserved worm. Many sellers have incorrect IDs on Mazon Creek fossils, whether it be malicious or not.
